Joseph Osei-Bonsu is a Ghanaian-American filmmaker who champions cinematic re-imaginations of African mythos for global audiences.

Born and raised in Ghana, West Africa, Osei-Bonsu is currently a Writing-Directing candidate at NYU’s Grad Film Program.
His latest narrative short, The Requiter—a dark-comedic murder-mystery set in 2008, Oklahoma—is currently in film festival circuit.
